We’re drawing lines in the middle of the street, And all I hear is static, all I feel is just defeat. He’s wearing red,she’s wearing blue, I’m in between the two and we stand so far apart, With a wall of angry headlines that is breaking every heart. We used to laugh together, beneath the same warm sun, Before the bitter fighting, had even just begun.
