Why I Wrote “MAKE America Great Again (for real this time)”

I chose to write this song because I felt an urgent need to redirect the conversation around what it means to be “Great.” For too long, the phrase “Make America Great Again” has been hijacked by division, anger, and a focus on turning back the clock. The current political climate often feels like a constant shouting match, where people are quicker to raise a middle finger than offer an open hand.

The core reason for writing this song is the belief that the greatness of this country lies not in its past isolation, nor its economic figures alone, but in its unparalleled diversity. I wanted to use the power of music to cut through the noise and remind everyone that we all love our country and would do anything for it. I believe that “doing anything” for America right now means stepping up and choosing unity over animosity. The “whispers” are the collective, gentle but powerful voice of all the people who want to move forward together but are often drowned out by the loudest, most extreme voices.
