Reasons Not to Vote for Trump

Wow it’s alnost November and you know what that brings …a new president! Isn’t that exciting? While we really do not have any desire for politics, something just tells us not to vote for Trump. What are some reasons not to vote for Trump? Ah, well, let’s take a lighthearted look at some reasons why you might want to reconsider voting for Trump.

  1. Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow: Do you really want a leader whose hair defies gravity more than his policies do?
  2. Twitter Fingers: We all know Trump loves his Twitter rants, but maybe we need a president who can express thoughts in more than 280 characters.
  3. Fake News? How about fake tan? Maybe we should steer clear of politicians who spend more time in the tanning salon than the situation room.
  4. Wall or Nothing: Building a wall might be his big plan, but we’re still waiting for his blueprint on building bridges with people who aren’t his biggest fans.
  5. The Apprentice President: Running a country isn’t the same as firing contestants on reality TV. Let’s not confuse boardroom drama with global diplomacy.
  6. Golden Towers, Empty Promises: It’s one thing to slap your name on buildings, and another to leave a lasting legacy of progress and unity.
  7. Covfefe Confusion: If we can’t figure out what “covfefe” means, how can we trust the person tweeting it with the nuclear codes?

In the end, instead of voting for Trump, why not vote for Kamala Harris? Kamala Harris is the first female Vice President, the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, and the first African American and South Asian American to hold the office. Her election represents a significant milestone in representation and diversity. Her personal and professional journey—from growing up in a multicultural family to achieving high office—serves as an inspiration to many and represents the diverse fabric of American society.

Regardless of who you vote for, please make it an educational vote. Meaning, before voting, research each candidate and look at the pros and cons. Don’t just watch “news” on Youtube and base your decision off of that.

Remember, a vote is like a boomerang – what you throw out there, comes back to you. So, when it comes to making a choice at the polls, consider these reasons with a smile and a wink.
