Ark Survival Evolved – PvP or PvE?

Which one should I choose?

If you’re thinking about playing Ark Survival Evolved for the first time, then you will have the option to choose between PVP or PVE. When I first started out, I started on PVE so that I could learn the game before I started playing against other people. I think learning the game first is a god idea, because then you will know exactly what needs to be done.

Okay, I’m going to be honest with my readers, I had some medical issues which totally took my memory away …took it away worse than a newbie would do to a beach Bob (no pun intended, lol). Anyhow, I was hidden away from the world in a hospital for three months. Once I returned home, I started back on Ark. This time, I walked right into PvP. No doubt, ouch. I was ganked every single day by higher players. It seems they set out to look for newbies on a daily basis. I wouldn’t label myself a newbie by any terms, but I was a low level, with no upgraded unlocks, so I didn’t have popular stuff, like tech walls. I didn’t even have a giga, ouch.

So what have we learned here? Well, if you are not familiar with the game, by all means, start out with PvE so that you can learn the game first. Then, once you have a good understanding  of ARK and see what it rakes to survive, then move to PVP.
