With the summer coming up, school will be out in most schools. Okay, so what are we going to do? Well, we could pick up the Xbox and play some games. From one gamer to another gamer, if you’re looking for something that is catchy, go for Ark Survivor Evolved. Here, let me tell you a bit about it ,,,
The Taming Game – Go for PVE First
Ark is one of my favorite Xbox games, and I feel it would be a good game to play during the summer months. With this game, you can play either PVP or PVE. Let me tell you, PVP may not be the best choice as a beginner, so start out on a PVE server, then once you get used to the game, go ahead and give PVP a try. Just take it from me, if you start out on a PVP server, as a newbie, you’re going to walk away unsatisfied. Besides, I think you need to get used to taming the dinosaurs first.
Taming Dinosaurs
Oh, did I forget to mention you can tame dinosaurs? When you’re looking for a dinosaur, try to go for a high level, because the high level, of course, tend to have more points in things like their health, melee, and stamina. Right now, the highest level you can get is a 150.
Building a Base
You will start out by being able to build a thatch house, go ahead and do that, so you can see how it looks, but once it has been built, turn it into stone, and then turn the stone into metal. Later on, you will be turning that stone into tech, but you have to do boss fights first to unlock those type of structures.
In the base, you should build auto turrets, but before you do that, you will need to build a generator, which can be crafted through the fabricator.
Once you have the turret made, you will need to make some bullets for it. Advanced rifle bullet is the ammo you will need to craft for the turret. I would keep at least 400 bullets in the turret at one time.
X Plants
How about adding some Xplants in that base? You’ll need to learn the large crop plot for this. Find some Xplant seeds – if you’re on an island server, you can find the seeds in the swamp. You can find a big flower plant that you can harvest the seeds from. Once you have the seeds, go back to the bade and craft some Large crop plots. Fill the crop plots with fertilizer (you can use phinoma poop), run water to it, then take the xplant seed and put it in the crop plot. Make sure you check the plot on a routine basis, and see that it has fertilizer continuously.
Okay, so there you have it, let’s go play Ark now! You can play it on multiple platforms, but I choose to play it on the Xbox. Drop me a message if you need same help, advice.
